“Moment of Inspiration”: Two Very Special Awards!

Mr. ‘M-Square’… he is one person who can tickle the funny bone, even during the toughest of times, with his ever-joyful demeanour and innocent words. I must admit, God was very kind to us when He decided:
“Ok, let the mortals have some fun now!” And thus appeared Michael Monday on this earthly realm, always ready to share his joy and fill every soul he meets with his radiance. Stephen King once said: “Any fool with steady hands and a working set of lungs can build up a house of cards and then blow it down, but it takes a genius to make people laugh.” This was precisely written for you, Michael. Thank you for the wonderful nominations (here and here). You truly are one gem of a person!

Now, the TWO wonderful Awards which were gifted to me (I must admit the names almost have a Blog Oscar jingle!):

Very Inspiring Blogger Award

“Reach high, for stars lie hidden in you.
Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.”
(Rabindranath Tagore)

Some inspire, some perspire. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make. Everyone wants to live on the top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you’re climbing it. I’m really overwhelmed and humbled by this honour… because I really have no idea whether I have the capability to inspire anyone. It’s a process of self-realization for me right now, in believing that: Yes, even I can inspire, if I try. Being gifted with this award feels absolutely special, considering that I’m totally new to this virtual world of expression. And I’ll always be indebted to all the fellow bloggers here for accepting me as one of their own, and thus inspiring me that I may share their elixir of inspiration with others. So my message to all my lovely friends here: Live your truth. Express your love. Share your enthusiasm. Waltz to your music. Embrace your blessings. And, make today worth remembering.

Best Moment Award

“At the end, one didn’t remember life as a whole but as just a string of moments.”
(David Levien)

Life is not made up of minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or years… but of moments. We must experience each of those before we can appreciate life as a whole. And if we were to collect these small moments in a notebook and save  them over a period of time, we would see certain trends emerge from our collection — certain voices would appear as if they have been trying to speak through us. We would realize that we have been living another life altogether; one we didn’t even know was going on inside us. And maybe this other life is more important than the one we think of as being real — this clunky day-to-day world of furniture and noise and metal. So maybe these small silent moments become the true story-making events of our lives… ’cause life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. This award which coincidentally celebrates the current moment of another glory (that of being a Very Inspiring Blogger) really means a lot to me. Big hug and thanks to all the friends and fellow bloggers for the love, support and appreciation.

Congratulations for receiving the awards yourself.
I forward you all the awards I have received – for, you have a talent in bringing joy to anyone who rests their glance on your blog, on your words.
You have a unique way with your poetry giving them more meaning with your notes before and after. Keep sharing the joy dear.
